I have a fascination with things that are eroding, rusting, aging, and/or decaying. While this may sound slightly morbid, it is actually more of a respect for these things and what they must have seen or been a part of in their lifetime.

Point of Rock

Sometimes I browse through my stuff and forget that I took the pictures that I see. These will bring back memories of where I was, who I was with, and some of the thoughts I was having at the time.

This particular photo was after a visit to a winery with my lady that was just fantastic. Finding this empty train station just topped the day off greatly.

Upcoming Travel

I've been lurking more than posting lately, except for some of my recent pirate pictures:



But enough self promotion and on to my topic... I'll be heading off for a few weekend trips to various parts of the country in the next month with camera in tow. I'm not sure what I'll see or capture, but I'm sure to find something. I've found I take better pictures when relaxed and not trying too hard. So vacation travel seems to help me do this. With that being said, I'm featuring a few of my recent favorites that are travel related.
